Education Chair
1st VP brings educational events to the membership.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinates the Annual Meeting
· Coordinates the Fall Education Series
· Communicates activities and changes as necessary to the Executive Committee.
· Brings motions to the Board of Directors upon the request of the Education Committee
· Reports to the President and the Executive Committee on the work of assigned committee
· As requested by the President attends regional and/or chapter meetings
· As requested by the President, attends additional meetings or events pertaining to the business of the AMTA
· Prepares and reviews all necessary materials prior to meetings
Time Commitment:
The 1st VP is expected to attend the Chapter Annual Meeting, Chapter Board Meetings, and the National Convention. The time commitment varies each year.
